Feltling Undead Bride and Groom

In general, people don’t “get” me. I’m used to it; I don’t care. I’m weird, I’m dark, I’m a little twisted. I’ll take it, whatever. It’s just who I’ve turned out to be. I got an awesome gift from my boyfriend’s mother; Zombie Felties. (First time I didn’t get something totally lame!)

So I made her this:

Their bodies are completely felt and stuffing (plus bead accents). The hubby was put together in the wrong order so he’s not as strong as his lady. The bones are bugle beads and seed beads with one strand of embroidery floss. The arm bones and leg bones have small pieces of wire to hold them stiff; plus a full wire through the feet, legs and into the body for support. The base is clay and heart shaped. Wifey doesn’t actually have a full body, just a torso with thick wire as her legs (since you wouldn’t see up her skirt anyway). I frayed the edges of her dress and used some Stiffen Stuff spray to keep it crinkled and his coattails curly. The tree in the back is bunch of thicker wires twisted around each other and then smushed full of clay, plus threads of seed beads dangling.

Curly Birds

The newest editions to the Feltling Family.

The birds are made with felt, stuffing, and embroidery floss. The branches are pipe cleaners, attached to cross-stitch canvas and embroidery hoop. Gifts for my friends for the holidays. I made three versions of these.
Blue bird, black bird

Red bird, grey bird

Squeelings

Feltlings

I made the Angry Squeeling a girlfriend. Now he doesn’t seem quite as angry. Especially with such a cute girly at his side.  :)

Despite being round 2, I would have thought she would have come out better than the first one, but apparently not. Her head/face is a little messed up/misshapen, but still cute. Oh, what to make next!  *mind wanders* Ah the possibilities, I just need to stop being so lazy.

I failed to get any work on Halloween stuff done last night, so I’ll have to do it tonight. I’ve only got two weeks until the Halloween party I’m going to and I can’t very well show up without a costume…. well… I could, but I said I’d make one, so I am.
*flee!*

Until next time,
The crafty biker, though I guess I can’t say biker, at the moment, since I’ve hung up the helmet and t-shirt for the winter. Time to batten down the hatches and seal up my cave for hibernation.
